FSI completes two jewellery deals in one week

HPJ Retailing Ltd and Family Jewels Ltd
FSI advised Gordon Brothers, the advisory, restructuring and investment firm on their acquisition from administrators of HPJ Retailing Ltd and Family Jewels Ltd, trading as HPJ Jewellers and Jewel Nation. The sale encompassed 52 of the 78 retail outlets with the new companies continuing to use the trading names.
The deal was led by Paul Glassberg (partner, corporate) with assistance from Simon Lovell (partner, finance), Stephen Lewis (partner, real estate) and a full cross departmental team of lawyers in support.
Paul commented “We are pleased to have assisted this long established retailer in continuing to trade from a number of high street outlets and shopping centres across the UK and in securing the jobs of the majority of the workforce“.
Pandora Jewellery moving to Marylebone
FSI advised Pandora Jewellery on their 13,000 sq ft of office space from Derwent London and The Portman Estate in their mixed use scheme at 33 George Street, Marylebone. Pandora have signed a ten year lease.
The FSI team was led by Julian Hindmarsh (partner, real estate) with assistance from Mads Ekanayake (partner, construction & engineering) and Madeleine Douglas (real estate).
