Nicholas joined FSI in September 2011 as a trainee.

Nicholas graduated with a law degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2007. The degree programme included a placement year with the Government Legal Service during which Nicholas worked in the VAT Litigation team and worked on cases from the VAT Tribunal to the European Court of Justice.

Nicholas then completed the LPC with distinction at BPP London Waterloo, taking electives in Advanced Commercial Litigation, Advanced Commercial Property and Employment Law.

Before joining FSI, Nicholas spent a year living in Canada.

Nicholas’ second seat is in the Corporate and Commercial Department. He has completed his first seat in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Group where he worked on a range of matters including debt recovery proceedings in the High Court, the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration proceedings. Nicholas is also involved in the firm's pro bono work.

Random Fact  

Nicholas has swum in the Gulf of Alaska and the Yukon River.
