Mads Ekanayake is a partner in real estate heading up our construction & engineering team.  He specialises in all aspects of construction and engineering with a particular sector focus in real estate and retail & leisure.

Mads advises clients on procurement strategy and negotiates the full spectrum of construction documentation on developments, as well as advising on construction aspects of real estate, corporate and banking transactions.  He also acts for clients on adjudications and dispute resolution.

• a major bank and the developer on the financing and development of a substantial hotel and data centre
• a London university on the development of a new campus sports complex
• a well known residential developer on their schemes throughout the UK
• a building contractor on a successful adjudication claim against the employer
• X-Leisure in relation to construction aspects of their property investments
• The Jewish Museum in relation to the redevelopment of the Museum in London
• Havering College on their campus redevelopment schemes

Mads enjoys snowboarding, swimming and travelling. He is also a (terrible) surfer!
