Nicholas Mackay Solicitor: Private Client

Nicholas joined FSI in September 2010.
Nicholas was educated at Worcester College, Oxford, where he read Modern History. He also attended BPP Law School where he completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course.
Prior to commencing his training contract, he worked as an Editor with Halsbury’s Statutes and Statutory Instruments, annotating Acts of Parliament for publication in their reissue volumes and keeping subscribers abreast of legislative developments.
Nicholas is currently sitting exams for entry to the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, of which he is a Student Member. He is also a member of the Law Society’s Private Client Section.
Recent work advising

on all aspects of private client work, both non-contentious and contentious, including estate planning, administration of estates, administration of trusts, will drafting, Court of Protection work, wills and probate disputes and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
Random fact
Nicholas is fascinated by the history of Renaissance Italy and is in the (very!) early stages of learning Italian.
