Acting primarily for corporate clients and senior individuals, Karen advises on a wide range of employment law issues.

Karen is approachable and friendly, and has a positive “can do” attitude. She has a strong understanding of the commercial issues affecting her clients, and prides herself on guiding them through all stages of the employment relationship.

From a corporate perspective, this includes drafting employment contracts, service agreements and staff handbooks, advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, assisting with redundancies and other exits and defending - and prosecuting - various claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract.

Karen has a keen interest in compensation arrangements for senior employees, particularly within the financial services sector. Acting for both employers and employees, Karen drafts, reviews and advises upon detailed deferred compensation arrangements.
