Melvyn is a consultant in the real estate team and is currently head of real estate investment.  He was elected Senior Partner of the firm for the period from 2006 to 2009 and then as Chairman from 2009 to 2010. 

Since his retirement as Chairman, Melvyn has concentrated on looking after his real estate investment clients and advising the real estate team generally.

Recent work advising

• Dr August Oetker Group on the sale of a high profile property investment at 13, 14 & 15 Old Bond St London.  Tenants include Gucci, Etro, Montblanc and the Colnaghi Art Gallery for a price exceeding £50m.
• the team responsible for the sale of the Daily Telegraph’s Head Quarters at Victoria Central
• the Tannen Group on a range of acquisitions, disposals and portfolio management issues

Melvyn is married with 2 children and lives in London.  His personal interests include travel and sport.
