Oliver Sloam Trainee Solicitor

Oliver joined FSI in September 2010 as a trainee.
Oliver graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2005. Prior to commencing his training contract, he worked in Politics in Washington and London, and spent a year working in Financial PR. Oliver completed the GDL in 2007 and the LPC in 2008 at the College of Law, London, where he took electives in Advanced Property, Employment and Family law.
Oliver's first seat was with the litigation team, where he assisted in disclosure, the enforcement of foreign judgments and obtaining evidence for foreign proceedings. His second seat was in the Real Estate department which included assisting in leasehold and licences work and all aspects of post completion work for a variety of landlords and tenants. Oliver’s third seat was in the Private Client department where he worked on the administration of Estates and Trusts, preparation of Wills, Letters of Wishes and Codicils and Powers of Attorney. He also assisted in the setting up and administration of Charities.
He is currently in the Family department.
Random fact
Oliver supports Tottenham Hotspur. He enjoys travelling and has spent time in Asia, South America, Europe and the United States.
